SLCMP TROOPS “233 INFANTRY BRIGADE” PROVIDED WITH NEW CHARGE ROOM FACILITY

Commander Security Force (East) Major General Lal Chandrasiri during his maiden field visit subsequent to assuming duties as the Commander Security Force (East) declared open the newly constructed charge room for the troops of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police of 233 Infantry Brigade Vakarai.

The charge room was constructed on the initiative and supervision of the Colonel Wasantha Hewage, Commander 233 Infantry Brigade utilizing local resources and with the labour provided by the troops under command.

General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Major General Nalin Koswatte and Commander 233 Infantry Brigade Colonel Wasantha Hewage unveiled the plaque, cut the ribbon and inspected the charge room.

Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarter (East) also participated in the visit.
