By responding to a request made by Ven. Serupitiye Annanda Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Monarathanna Temple, troops of the Security Force Headquarters (East) volunteered to donate blood for the benefit of needy patients on Sunday (23) at Monarathanna Temple, Welikanda.
Major General Channa Weerasuriya, the Commander Security Force (East) has given necessary guidelines for the troops to participate in this worthy cause. Medical Officers from Central Blood BankNarahenpita assisted the project.
