1. The Commander Security Forces (East), Major General D D U K Hettiarrachchi RSP USP ndu psc, visited 6 (V) SLAGSC deployed in Kandakadu area on 19 December 2016 after assuming duties as new Commander, SF (E). \r\n\r\n2. On arrival at the 6 (V) SLAGSC Headquarters, the Commander Security Forces (East) was welcomed by Major MKSS de Silva (CO - 6 (V) SLAGSC) and he was accorded with a guard turnout in accordance with military formalities. All the officers of 6(V) SLAGSC were introduced to the Comd SF (E) by CO and conducted a comprehensive briefing on role and tasks of the Bn and the present deployment. Afterwards Comd SF (E) addressed the 6(V) SLAGSC troops.\r\n3. Comd SF (E) participated to a all ranks tea at the ORs Mess and visited 6(V) SLAGSC Camp premises and finally participated to the all ranks lunch to conclude the programme.\r\n
