SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (EAST) CONDUCTS COORDINATING MEETING WITH STAKEHOLDERS OF UNDER COMMAND ARMY INSTALLATIONS

A coordinating meeting with key officers from the under-command Infantry Divisions, Logistics Command, Infantry Brigades, and Battalion-level officers including Civil Affairs Officers, Brigade Majors, Second-in-Command Officers, and Adjutants was held at the Security Forces Headquarters (East) conference hall on 23 April 2025.

The meeting, chaired by the Brigadier General Staff, provided a platform for all stakeholders to share information and work towards a common strategy in strengthening civil-military coordination, planning future activities, supporting the “Clean Sri Lanka” concept, addressing basic troop needs, improving welfare facilities, and streamlining administrative matters concerning under-command troops.

Colonel General Staff concluded the conference by conveying the key messages delivered during the recent Security Forces Commanders’ Conference, emphasizing the Commander of the Army’s guidance and expectations.

Following the meeting, a lecture was conducted by the Colonel Coordinating of the General Staff Branch on the implementation of the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative.

The event was attended by the Brigadier Coordinating, Chief Civil Affairs Coordinating Officer, and other senior officers.
