SECURITY FORCES (EAST) ORGANIZE VIBRANT VESAK ZONE IN WELIKANDA

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, the Security Forces (East) successfully organized a vibrant Vesak Zone in Welikanda town as part of ongoing civil-military coordination efforts.

The event featured a range of traditional Vesak celebrations, including beautifully crafted Vesak lanterns and a Dansala, offering free refreshments to the public. The program was officially inaugurated by Brigadier W. S. V. Fernando, USP, ndc, IG, the Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces (East).

The Vesak Zone attracted a large number of participants and visitors, creating a festive and spiritual atmosphere throughout the town.
