SECURITY FORCES (EAST) INITIATED TO PROMOTE ORGANIC FERTILIZER AMONGST FARMERS IN POLONNARUWA ,AMPARA AND BATTICALOA
Security Forces Headquarters (East) ,under the direction of Major General Lal Perera, The Commander , Security Forces (East) initiated to promote Organic fertilizer amongst farmers in the Eastern Theatre with the assistance of Agriculture Department. Several sessions were organized in Polonnaruwa on16th September and in Ampara and Batticaloa on17th September to educate farmers in the area, the success of the "Usage of Organic fertilizer" with demonstrations and Expert Comments with the assistance of the Agriculture Department, Eastern Province. Sri Lanka Army provide Transport, Refreshments, Meals for all participants .Several Military and Civil dignitaries were attend for subjected sessions .
