SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (EAST) ORGANIZED SINHALA AND TAMIL NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
Sinhala and Tamil new year Festival of SFHQ (E) was held at Security Force Headquarters Welikanda on 14th April 2017. The event organized as per the guidance of Comd SF(E) Major General Nandana Senadeera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu. Consequent to the lighting of traditional Oil lamp Comd SF(E) to joined in tasting the traditional new year treats on auspicious moment and troops of SFHQ (E) had displayed \'Gammi Gedara\'. \r\n\r\nSeveral traditional event were held such as playing Pancha, Olidakeliya, the playing of the Raban sural and Onchili Varam at \'Gammi Gedara\'. Comd SFHQ (E), family members of serving Officers /Other Rankers of SFHQ (E) attended the event.
