The Commanding Officer and troops of the 5 (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery organized a community welfare programme and distributed school equipment to 100 deserving students of T/Kan/Seevalee Vidyalaya on 06 March 2026.
The programme was conducted with the participation of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division and the Commander of the 222 Infantry Brigade, with the objective of assisting students from low-income families to continue their educational activities without difficulty. During the event, students received school bags, exercise books, and other essential learning materials.
The project was successfully conducted with the generous sponsorship extended by the Principal and the Teaching Staff of the Batapola Sri Siri Dhamma Daham Pasala.
