Ampara Dhammaratha Sinhala School located is in Akkaraipaththuwa area of Ampara district and most of the musical instruments are belong to drama section, which are in unserviceable due to used of long time. Therefore, request made by the principle of the said school for repair those items, and considering that request commander the 241 Infantry Brigade Brigadier LSDN Pathiratne RSP USP, agree to repair that with the support of leading musical instrument manufacturing institute Sri Madura located in Matara. Accordingly, 31 May 2024 the respective musical instruments were distributed to the students under the leadership of the brigade commander. Civil affairs officer of this brigade, the principal of the school, the teaching staff, students and girls and Sri Vijayarama Mahavihara chief incumbent also participated.
