REFURBISHED VEHICLES ARE HANDED OUT IN EAST COINCIDENT WITH THE ARMY ANNIVERSARY

To coincide with the 72 Army anniversary, Major General Channa Weerasuriya, Commander Security Force - East, handed out repaired and refurbished vehicles for the use of Forward Maintenance Area (East) and battalions under command to the Security Force Headquarters - East on Saturday (09).

Accordingly, 21 vehicles including Jeeps, Cabs, Vans, Buses, Trucks, Tractors and Bowsers were repaired and refurbished by troops of 3 Sri Lanka Army Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (SLEME).

Commander Forward Maintenance Area - East, Major General Mahesh Abeyrathna, Commanding Officer of 3 Sri Lanka Army Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Major Kolitha Almedha, Officers and troops were also present the occasion.
