QMG AND MGO OFFICIALLY VISIT THE SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (EAST).

Major General Piyantha Jayawardana, Quarter Master General (QMG), and Major General Hirosha Wanigasekara, Master General Ordnance (MGO), made an official visit to Security Force Headquarters (East) on Friday (March 03). The Generals of two stars were warmly welcomed by Major General Chanaka Meththananda, Commander, Forward Maintains Area (East).

The QMG and MGO first arrived at the Headquarters of the Security Forces (East) and attended to the formalities. After, they participated in the administrative conference held in the conference hall of Security Force Headquarters (East). During the conference discussed important logistic issues under command formations to Security Force Headquarters (East) and shared thoughts to improve logistic works in the Security Forces (East) area. The conference culminated with a presenting of mementos, to the QMG and MGO by the hand of Major General Chanaka Meththananda, Commander, Forward Maintains Area (East).

Major General Chanaka Meththananda, Commander Forward Maintains Area (East), General Officer Commanders of 23 and 24 Infantry Divisions, Staff Officers, Administrative Branch of Security Force Headquarters (East) and Commanding Officers of Logistics Battalion Under Command to Forward Maintains Area (East), joined the discussion with the QMG and MGO.
