PROSTHETIC LIMBS DISTRIBUTES TO 26 AMPUTEES AT 22 INFANTRY DIVISION

A Prosthetic Limbs Distribution Programme was organised by the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (SLACAL – SVB) under the guidance of Major General S.A. Kulatunga RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of Security Force Headquarters (East) and Colonel Commandant of SLACAL, from 17 to 19 October 2024 at the 22 Infantry Division.

Major General U.K.D.D.P. Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest. During the programme, 27 prosthetic limbs were distributed to 26 amputees from the Sinhala, Muslim, and Tamil communities. The programme was sponsored by the Colombo Friend-in-Need Society, Rotary Club of Capital City and Lanka Ashok Leyland.

Representatives from the supporting organisations, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present.
