OUTGOING SF-EAST COMMANDER HONOURED

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - East on 5th May 2022 conducted a farewell to the outgoing Commander Security Forces - East, Major General PML Chandrasiri WWV RWP RSP ndu during a formal military ceremony, held at the SFHQ-East premises. After the Guard Turnout at the Main Gate he was received a Guard of Honour presented by 4 GW troops.

Afterwards, outgoing Commander addressed the troops and highlighted their immense contribution during his tenure as the Security Forces Commander.

After the military formalities, an all rank tea party was conducted.

General Officers Commanding of the 22, 23 & 24 Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the farewell ceremony.
