ORGANIZING POSON DAY ACTIVITIES AT BUDDHANGALA RAJA MAHA VIHARAYA
Poson Festival of this year at 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), was organized in a grand scale at Buddhangala Raja MahaViharaya with the patronage of the Commander of the Army Lt Gen AWJC De Silva RWP USP ndu psc. The exhibition of Sacred Relics of the Omniscient and two Chief Disciples was declared open by the Commander of the Army accompanying Mrs. Nayana De Silva, the spouse of the Commander of the Army on 03 June 2015.rnrnFurther, a rice dansel was organized in order to provide rice for the devotees who came to worship Buddhangala Raja Maha Viharaya. And also an exhibition of attractive lanterns was held at the temple premises.rnrnThe Commander of Security Force (East), GOC of 24 Div, Bde Comds of 241 and 242 also participated in this meritorious deed. The Dhamma sermon was delivered by the Chief Incumbent of Buddhangala Raja Maha Viharaya, Ven. Deeghavapi Suseema Thero and Ananda Thero.rn
