OFFERING OF FRUITS, HERBS AND \"CHATHU MADURA\" FOR SERUWAWILA MANGALA MAHA SEYA
An offering of fruits, herbs, \"Chathu Madura\" and lightening of eighty four thousand oil lamps for Seruwawila Mangala Maha Seya were organized with the patronage of the Chief Incumbent of Seruwawila Mangala Maha Viharaya Ven. Saranakitthi Thero and several other monks from Mahamewna Monastery, Kaduwela on 09th May 2015. The Divisional Secretariat of Seruwila, Navy Comd of Eastern Province, Comd 222 Bde, CCCA of 222 Bde, COs of 22 VIR and 24 SLNG and DIG of Kanthale gave their fullest contribution in this meritorious deed. Temple premises were cleaned and people who participated for the function were provided drinking water by the Army.
