NEWLY REPAIRED WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM AT THAULWEWA ARMY CAMP INAUGURATED

Under the guidance of the Commander of the 22 Infantry Division, the water purification system at Thaulwewa Army Camp was successfully repaired and inaugurated on 17 August 2024.

This initiative was made possible through a generous financial donation from Mr. Atula Eliyapura, Managing Director of Raja Jewelers - Bambalapitiya, and his staff. The 6 Sri Lanka Armored Corps provided workforce assistance, while the Sri Lanka Navy contributed technical expertise.

The inauguration was graced by Major General P.A.M. Peiris RSP USP psc as the chief guest. The event was attended by Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, school students, and local villagers.
