NEWLY CONSTRUCTED “LAGOON NEST” HOLIDAY BUNGALOW OF 233 INFANTRY BRIGADE DECLARED OPEN

The newly constructed ‘’Lagoon Nest” with six rooms Holiday Bungalow was opened by Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Forces - East and Major General Shewanth Kulatunge General officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division ,on 22nd December 2022.

The “Lagoon Nest" Holiday Bungalow was Constructed to fulfill a long term needs of the Sri Lanka Army on initiative and supervision of Brigadier Wasantha Hewage , Commander 233 infantry Brigade by using Local Resources and Army Funds with valuable contribution of troops under command to the Brigade.

Commanders – 231 and 234 Infantry Brigades, commanding Officers of 9th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment , 24th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 3rd Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock, senior officers and officers under command to 233 Infantry Brigade joined with the occasion.
