THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED TODDLERS’ PARK IN ORR’S HILL OPENED

The new Toddlers’ Park at ORR’S Hill Trincomalee, built by the troops of 22 Division was declared open by General Officer Commanding 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara at the auspicious time on 15 March 2018. In line with the series of community-oriented welfare programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Army, this park was constructed under the directions of General Officer Commanding 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara.

At the same occasion, 75 savings accounts were opened for kids by 22 Division, coordinating with the People’s Bank Trincomalee. The parents and teachers highly appreciated the efforts made by the Army to build the Park.

Commander 222 Brigade Brigadier DMKDB Pussella, Commander 224 Brigade Colonel P Ediriweera, Divisional Secretary Trincomalee Mr. JS Arulraj, Assitant Manger People’s Bank Trincomalee Mr. N Jayawelwan , Commanding Officers, Officers, teachers, parents, Government officials and many civilians also participated in the event.
