NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SHRINE ROOM WAS HANDED OVER TO THE PRIMARY SCHOOL OF MAHAWELITHENNA

A new Shrine Room at Mahawelithenna Primary School was constructed by the troops of 2(Volunteer) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps under the instruction of the Commanding Officer and with the financial support of Mr. Duminda Jayaweera & Mr. Ranga Warusavithana.

The Shrine Room was declared open by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Bhathiya Jayaweera on Monday (11) and handed over to the children of the primary school during a simple ceremony held with the presence of Maha Sangha, Officers & Other Ranks of 2 (Volunteer) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps and parents of the students.
