Commander Security Forces (East), Major General KPA Jayasekera RWP RSP USP ndc psc revealed the pinnacle of the newly constructed Pagoda at the Headquarters premises of 24 Division in Malwaththa on Sunday (10) amidst the blessings of 'Pirith Chanting' and drum beating.
The construction of the Pagoda which was a meritorious concept of General Officer Commanding 24 Division Major General LM Mudalige RWP RSP was completed within a short period of one month with the auspices of Temple of Tooth Relic, Singer Sri Lanka Company, CIC Agri Businesses (Pvt) Limited. The charming ceremony to enshrine the Sacred Relics in the Pagoda was held with all night 'Pirith' chanting and morning Alms giving for Maha Sanga.
