NEWLY CONSTRUCTED DINING HALL, OFFICE COMPLEX AND LAGOON BAR OF 233 INFANTRY BRIGADE DECLARED OPEN

The newly constructed Dining Hall, Office Complex and Lagoon Bar of Officers’ Mess of 233 Infantry Brigade were opened by Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Commander Security Forces (East) and Major General Shiwantha Kulatunge, General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division on 03 September 2022.

Fulfilling a long-due requirement of the Officers of 233 Infantry Brigade, the constructions of the Officers’ Mess were carried out under the supervision of Brigadier Wasantha Hewage, Commander 233 Infantry Brigade by using local resources and Army funds with valuable contribution of troops under command to the Brigade.

Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officers of 7 Sri Lanka Artillery, 6 Gajaba Regiment, 3 (V) Military Intelligence Corps and 3 Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock, Senior Officers and Officers under command to the 233 Infantry Brigade joined the occasion.
