NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDING OFFICER TOOK OVER 2(V) REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS

Lieutenant Colonel A A T Somarathne USP assumed duties as the 10th Commanding Officer of the 2 (Volunteer) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on Tuesday 26, March 2019.

Commanding with the proceedings, a Guard Turnout was accorded to the new Commanding Officer and a mango sapling was planted at the premises by the CO in memory of his assumption of duties. Subsequently, amidst the chanting of Sethpirith, new Commanding Officer signed on an official document symbolizing his acceptance to his new office at the auspicious time.
