THE NEW MAIN GATE OF 24 DIVISION WAS OPENED

With the supervision of General Officer Commanding 24 Division, Major General Mahinda Mudalige, troops of 3 ESR (Engineer Service Regiment) have constructed a Main Gate Entrance to the headquarters 24 Division. It was ceremonially opened and the main plaque was unveiled by the General Officer Commanding 24 Division on early hours of Thursday 28 June 2018.

It has been a long felt requirement since the Division has been re-established at the present location of Malwatte. However, amidst other commitments and the busy schedule, the construction of the main gate was completed within the projected time as per the expectations of the General Officer Commanding 24 Division.
