NEW ACCOMMODATION FACILITY FOR OTHER RANKS INAUGURATED BY GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 24 INFANTRY DIVISION

Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, inaugurated a newly constructed accommodation building for Other Ranks at the 241 Infantry Brigade on 22 August 2024.

The new building was constructed using deprecated building materials along with locally supplied resources and materials provided by the Directorate of Engineer Services. The construction process was carried out under the supervision of Brigadier L.S.D.N Pathirathna RSP USP, Commander of the 241 Infantry Brigade. Workforce assistance was given by troops from the 241 Infantry Brigade and its under command Battalions and the Engineer Service Regiment.
