Colonel J K R P Jayasinghe RWP RSP USP assumed duties as the 7th Commander of the 223 Infantry Brigade on 12 August 2021 amidst the blessings of Maha Sangha.
The newly-appointed Brigade Commander was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers and honoured in a Guard Turnout, presented by 15 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops. Afterwards, Colonel Ravindra Jayasinghe planted a sapling at the Headquarter premises to mark his assumption of duties. All Rank tea and a formal address to the Officers and Other Ranks culminated the day’s proceedings.
Staff Officers of the Headquarters 223 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officers of 6 SLAC and 15 SLLI and Other Ranks were present at the ceremony.
