NEW 222 INFANTRY BRIGADE COMMANDER BEGINS DUTIES

Brigadier NH Malsinghe RWP RSP psc assumed duties as the new Commander of the 222 Infantry Brigade, amid religious blessings at the Headquarters in jayanthigama - Kanthale on 14th December 2022.

The newly appointed Commander of the 222 Infantry Brigade of the 22 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers and honored in a Guard Turnout. Afterwards Brigadier Nalaka Malsinghe signed a formal document at the auspicious minute and symbolized the official acceptance of new appointment.

An All Rank tea, planting of a sapling and the formal address to the Officers, and Other Ranks culminated the day’s proceedings. Commanding Officers and Brigade staff were present at the occasion.
