MEDICAL CLINIC ORGANIZED BY 23 DIVISION AT WELIKANDA MAHA VIDYALAYA
1. On a request made by 23 Division, Susarana Lanka Social Development Foundation of Kandy, conducted a special medical clinic on 24 January 2016 at Welikanda Maha Vidyalaya. Nearly 2000 civilians who do not have the access for proper medical treatments in Welikanda area were benefited by the said medical clinic. The medical clinic consisted with Cardiology clinic, Paediatric clinic, Surgical clinic, VOG clinic, Skin clinic, Orthopedics clinic, Eye clinic, Dental clinic and ENT clinic.\r\n\r\n2. In parallel with this programme 100 students and 2 preschools were given out stationery items, 5 selected temples were donated water tanks, lockers, dry rations, mosquito nets and 50 civilians were distributed dry ration packets.\r\n\r\n3. General Officer Commanding, 23 Division Maj Gen DDUK Hettiarrachchi RSP USP ndu psc, all senior officers and other ranks of 23 Division attended the above mentioned events. \r\n
