Medical campaign and blood donation programme was organized by the 11 SLNG Battalion and HQ 242 Brigade under the supervision of 24 Division in SFHQ(E). The programme was held from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs on 18 March 2016 at Deegawapiya Temple. This medical camp organized for Army Soldiers and retired Army Soldiers, their family members and civil community who living at Deegawapiya, Eragama, Hingurana and nearest villages.\r\nMedical assistance was provided by the staff of the Ampara General Hospital for the event. Medical officers and the staff of and 5 SLAMC also participated for the campaign and 35 soldiers donated their blood and 623 civilians were benefitted from the medical clinic.\r\n
