MAJOR GENERAL SHEWANTH KULATUNGE FELICITATED AFTER PROMOTION

On 26 August 2022, the troops of the 233 Infantry Division at Punani presented formal honour in accordance with Military traditions upon the arrival of the newly promoted General Officer Commanding, Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP USP psc after a courtesy call from the Commander of the Army.

Troops of 6 Gajaba Regiment presented a Guard Turnout at the main entrance and followed by a Guard of Honour in conformity with military traditions.

The GOC planted a ‘Mango’ sapling in front of the Headquarters building of the 23 Infantry Division to mark the event.

Major General Shewanth Kulatunge afterwards addressed his troops at the Headquarters Auditorium and joined the all rank tea.

Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers of under command Brigades and Battalions, Staff Officers and Other Ranks of the 23 Infantry Division attended for the felicitation ceremony.
