Lieutenant Colonel T V N De Saa RSP USP psc IG SLA, assumed duties as the 16th Commanding Officer of 9 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 01 August 2024, at Sinhapura.

The programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard turnout. Newly appointed Commanding Officer, placed his signature on a formal document after a brief religious observances as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command. The day’s events included planting a sapling, a troop address and tea party.
