LECTURE ON NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES HELD AT SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (EAST)

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, and the close supervision of the Project Officer of Security Forces (East), a lecture on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) was organized to promote good health and raise awareness among the troops.

The lecture was delivered by Captain Geeshan Rajapaksha SLAMC Medical Officer, and aimed to educate soldiers on the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases. The event took place on 01 May 2025 at the Lecture Hall, Security Forces Headquarters (East).

Senior officers and approximately 200 other ranks participated in the session, reflecting the commitment of the Security Forces towards the health and well-being of its personnel.
