LECTURE ON CIVIL AND MILITARY LAW HELD AT SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (EAST)

Major Kushan Hettiarachchi, Legal Officer, conducted a lecture on civil and military law as part of the Wednesday training program held on 23 April 2025 at the lecture hall of Security Forces Headquarters (East).

The main objective of the lecture was to raise awareness and educate Army personnel on legal boundaries, helping to prevent them from engaging in unauthorized or unlawful activities. Major Hettiarachchi provided valuable insights into both civil and military legal frameworks relevant to military duties, highlighting the importance of adhering to legal standards in all aspects of service.
