BEFORE LEAVING THE EASTERN THEATRE, COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (EAST) VISITS UNDER COMMAND DIVISIONS AND FORWARD MAINTENANCE AREA (EAST)

At the outset, the Comd SF (E) visited HQ 22 Division on 28 May, on the following day he made a visit to HQ 22 Div and FMA (East) and 24 Div on 30 May. During the visits, Comd SF (E) was warmly welcomed by all the GOCs and Comd FMA (E) and addressed the troops of the respective formations and appreciated the services rendered by all ranks encouraging them to continue to offer their service effectively in future as well. At the end of all the visits, Comd SF (E) signed the visitors' books as an aide memoire and plaques were presented to him by all GOCs’ and Comd FMA (E).

GOC 22 Div Maj Gen CD Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu, GOC 23 Div Maj Gen AGDN Jayasundra RWP RSP, GOC 24 Div Maj Gen JC Gamage ndc psc and Comd FMA (E) Maj Gen BB Randeniya welcomed and ushered the Comd SF (E) at their respective headquarters.
