A workshop to educate Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff Officers serving under command to the Security Force Headquarters (East) on ‘Military in Internal Security Operations’ got underway at the Security Force Headquarters (East), Welikanda on 03 and 04 March 2021.
This workshop was conducted on the instructions, given by the Commander Security Forces- (East) Major General Channa Weerasuriya through the coordination of the Directorate of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Delegate Brigadier (Retired) Jacques Lemay and ICRC Regional Armed and Security Forces Programme Adviser Mr Channa Jayawardena educated the gathering.
