In response to a request made by the Chief of Covid - 19 Task Force Batticaloa, Commander 23 Infantry Division Major General KANN Koswatta RWP RSP ndc, Kattankudy Muslim Federation donated 80 Degree ULT Freezer and Mortuary Container worth of Rs. 4 million, to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital on 11 December 2021.
The medical items were properly handed over to Director Teaching Hospital Batticaloa Dr. Mrs Kala Ganeshalingham by the GOC 23 Infantry Division Major General Nalin Koswatta, Commander 231 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Dilupa Bandara and Muslim Federation members of Kattankudy.
Additional Government Agent Batticaloa, Mrs S Srikanth and senior medical staff Teaching Hospital Batticaloa joined the event.
