FMA (EAST) ORGANIZES A CHAIN OF LOGISTIC COURSES FOR OFFICERS

Headquarters of Forward Maintenance Area (East) started a series of refresher courses for enhance the knowledge of Officers serving at Division, Brigade, Training Schools and Battalions under the Security Force Headquarters (East) at 3 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Minneriya.

The refresher courses were started under the concept of the Commander FMA (E), Major General KAWS Ratnayake ndc.

As the first stage of these courses, a Logistic Course was started on 15 August 2022 at 3 SLAOC, Minneriya for 2nd in Commands, Officer Commandings and Adjutants of the Battalions. A total of 29 Officers participated in the course.

The Commander, FMA (E) was conducted the opening address of the course. The Colonel FMA (E), Staff Officer I and Officers of FMA (E) were attended to the opening address.

The second step of the Officers' Logistic Course was started 22 August 2022 and Vehicle Maintain Course & Minor Repair Course, Water Pump & Generator Repair Course, Storeman Course also will be commenced in next three months to continue this concept.
