FMA -EAST COMMEMORATES ITS 28TH ANNIVERSARY

The Forward Maintenance Area HQ - East at Minneriya on 14 September 2022 commemorated its 28th Anniversary in a combined ceremony of religious and military formalities.

In parallel to the anniversary events, Troops of FMA (E) organized a cleaning programme on Thursday (22) at Minneriya Devala Premises and area of the tank Embankment . In the evening A Bodhi Puja Pinkama was held, followed by invocation of blessings to the FMA (E) Flag and on the troops at the sacred Somawathiya temple. On the directions and in participation of The FMA (E) commander Major General chanaka Mettananda.

Colonel, Forward Maintenance Area HQ (E), senior officers, officers of under command log units, officers and other ranks enthusiastically contributed to the events.
