The Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (East), Major General Chanaka Mettananda made an official visit to the 5 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (5 SLAMC) and Army Base Hospital - Minneriya (ABH - Min) on Saturday (February 11).
During this visit, the Commander discussed with the Commanding Officer of the unit and the Officer Commanding ABH (Min) the current problems and needs of the 5 SLAMC and ABH (Min). Also, the Commander visited the medical ward ABH (Min) to see the patients receiving medical treatment in the hospital and distributed presents to them.
Staff Officers of Forward Maintenance Area (East) participated in the visit with the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (East) and Commanding Officer, Officers of the 5 SLAMC and Officer Commanding of the ABH (Min) were also present during this visit.
