Major General WAKB Udalupola RSP was honoured with a guard turnout and guard of honour on his promotion to the rank of Major General by the Headquarters 23 Infantry Division on 06 April 2019.
A Guard Turnout at the main gate greeted him and thereafter he took salute of the Guard of Honour in conformity with military traditions. After the military honours, he posed for a group photograph with all Officers present. Subsequently, he planted a sapling in front of the Division Headquarters premises. Later, the day's ceremony was concluded with the all ranks tea party.
