EASTERN TROOPS AWARE TO BEE-KEEPING

Under the guidance of Commander Security Forces (East), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, according to the concept of a General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Major General Shewanth Kulatunge, staff officers of the 23 Infantry Division, organized two days of the workshop to educate officers and other ranks about ''Bee-Keeping'' on 21st and 22nd of February. This workshop was conducted at the outdoor lecture premise of Battalion Training School Punani. Troops of Security Force Headquarters (East), Headquarters 23 Infantry Division, 3 Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 1 Commando Regiment, and 2 Sri Lanka Service Corps, participated in the workshop to share the knowledge to the eastern area.

Mr. Tissa Bandara Thambavita, Secretary of the 'Bingu Resource Protection Organization' and Mr.Nuwan Keerthi Technician of the 'Bingu Resource Protection Organization' participated in the workshop as resource persons and provided their expertise.
