Water purification is the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids, and gases from water. The goal is to produce water that is fit for specific purposes. Most water is purified and disinfected for human consumption. With the intention of pure water for all staff of the Security Forces Headquarters-East, the Eastern Commander, Major General Darshana Wijesekera directs to install the Reverse Osmosis Plant (RO Plant) in the eastern headquarters.
As per the intention of the Commander, the Directorate of Engineering Services issued the RO Plant made in the Engineering Service Center workshop Habarakada for the welfare of all the soldiers of the Forces Headquarters-East. The RO Plant opened to the soldiers today (22 June) from the hands of the Eastern Commander, Major General Darshana Wijesekera in a simple ceremony.
Brigadier General staff, Brigadier Admin and Quartering with all the staff officers and other ranks staff of Security Forces Headquarters-East were attended to the opening ceremony.
