Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, the Eastern Commander called on Bishop of Batticaloa Rt. Rev Joseph Ponniah on today (29 Nov) at Bishop House of Batticaloa.
During the interaction with the Bishop, the Security Forces Commander discussed the Civil-Military Coordination of the Batticaloa district and the strengthening of reconciliation among all ethnicities. Furthermore, discussed the preparation for upcoming Christmas festival celebrations in the area with the coordination of the Eastern Headquarters.
After all, the Bishop invoked blessings to the Commander and wished him good luck for future endeavors.
