EASTERN COMMAND TOOK PART FOR ‘AMA DORA VIVARA VIYA’ DHAMMA PREACHING

According to vision of Commander of the Army Lieutenant Genaral Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, with the direction of Directorate of Personal Administration and Sri Lanka Army Buddhist association, Security Force Headquarters - East organized a Dhamma preaching programme. Ven. Balangoda Radha Thero conducted this Dhamma preaching on 18 July 2023 at the temple premises of Security Force Headquarters - East in Walikanda as one programme of the "Ama dora vivara viya" Dhamma preaching series.

Troops of Security Force Headquarters - East organized this liturgy event under the Instruction and guidance of Major General Darshana Wijesekera, the Eastern Commander. Major General Darshana Wijesekera, the Eastern Commander, Brigedier KVNP Premaratne RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, More than 500 troops including officers and other ranks of the Security Force Headquarters - East and 23 Infantry Division were gathered to this Dhamma sermon for Spiritual Progress.
