DRY RATIONS PROVIDED TO TEMPLES IN EAST

With the sole intention of providing maximum possible relief assistance, the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) with the support of Mr. Kushil Gunasekara, the Chief Trustee of Foundation of Goodness provided a large consignment of dry rations and essentials to temples at Kandakadu, Damminna, Sewanapitiya and Mahawewa areas on 05 September 2022.

This Programme was underway the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces East, Major General GRRP Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu and with the sponsorship of Mr. Kushil Gunasekara. Each Temple was provided dry ration packs, worth Rs. 85,000.00 respectively.

The donor, Mr. Kushil Gunasekara also took part in the distribution along with Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Commander, SF - East. Chief Incumbents of respective temples, Chief Coordinator of Civil Affairs, Colonel Rajiv Fernando, Civil Affairs Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Prabath Halpage, 2nd in Command of 9 Sri Lanka Artillery, Maj Malaka Rathnayake together with Officers and Other Ranks were also associated with the donation programmes.
