Brigadier Vijitha Hettiarachchi, the Commander 231 Infantry Brigade led a donation programme at Bishop's House Batticaloa to distribute essential items to facilitate the smooth functioning of the Teaching Hospital Batticaloa.
The aforesaid items were donated by Engineers' Charity Fund Australia and also the Bishop of Batticaloa - Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ponnaih, a red cross member – Wasandha Raja, the Director of Batticaloa Teaching Hospital – Dr. Kalaranjani Ganeshalingam and Civil Society Members of Batticaloa were present at the programme.
