In response to a request made by the Commanding Officer of 22nd Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Old Boys' of 1995 batch of Mahanama Maha Vidyalaya, Colombo sponsored to donate school accessories for 'Nelum' Early Childhood Development Centre, Seruwawila on 20 February 2020.
Headquarters of 222 Brigade organized this event where school stationery for 15 children, file cupboards and toys were distributed during the event under the patronage of the Commander 222 Brigade, Colonel Wiraj Wimalasena. Commanding Officer 22nd Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Lt Col Suranga Ramanayaka, Officers and Other Rankers were among the gathering.
