In order to uplift the education of underprivileged students in Vakarei area, the Headquarters of 233 Brigade initiated a donation programme of school materials on 07 January 2019 at Kadiraweli Vigneswara School. The programme was organized with the assistance of the Chairperson -‘Peace and Loving’’ foundation, Mr. Laxman Mahanama. 150 school bags including all needy accessories worth of Rs. 3000 each were distributed among the students.
Nearly 200 people participated in the event, including school staff and members of Rural Development Committee and parents.
