DISTRIBUTION OF STATIONERY ITEMS TO STUDENTS OF JAYASEKARARAMAYA DHAMMA SCHOOL
In response to a request made by the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General DDUK Hettiarrachchi RSP USP ndu psc, Mr. Kusal Dasarath de Silva, the Chief Organizer of Vajirarama Dhamma School Bambalapitiya, organized a donation programme at Jayasekararamaya Dhamma School, Aselapura, Welikanda on 25 December 2016. Students who have financial difficulties were presented much needed stationery items with the sponsorship of businessman, Mr. Vipula Dasanayake and Mrs. Darshani. Each stationery pack contained all the essential stationeries including a school bag and a pair of shoes worth of Rs. 3500.00. Mr. Vipula Dasanayake sponsored the meritorious deed spending around Rs.400 000 in remembrance of his late father.\r\nCommander Security Forces (East) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, under the patronage of Ven. Rahula Thero, the former Secretary of Shasanarakshaka Bala Mandalaya Welikanda and Ven. Mathale Vichithralankara Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Jayasekararamaya Welikanda.\r\n
