DISTRIBUTION OF SPECTACLES TO RETIRED AND DISABLED OFFICERS AND SOLDIERS

A special programme was held to distribute spectacles to retired and disabled officers and soldiers, sponsored by the Army Seva Vanitha Branch. The event was graced by the Security Forces (East) Commander, Major General JSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, who attended as the Chief Guest, adding significance and honour to the occasion.

During the ceremony, beneficiaries received high-quality spectacles aimed at improving their vision and supporting their daily lives. Many retired and disabled personnel face vision-related challenges due to age, long years of service, or medical conditions, and this initiative provides meaningful relief and support.
