DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL ITEMS AND STATIONARIES TO THE SWAMI VIPULANANDA CHILDREN‘S HOME AT AKKARAIPATTU

With the guidance of General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc and the instructions and coordination of Commander 241 Infantry Brigade Colonel LSDN Pathirathna RSP USP, troops of 241 Infantry Brigade was organized a school items and stationery distribution program for 40 Students on 24th June 2023 at Swami Vipulananda Children‘s Home at Akkaraipattu.

Commander 241 Infantry Brigade has been coordinating the donors who are living in foreign countries and Sri Lanka The one pack of school stationery which was is distributed worth of Rs 10000 and total donations of 40 packs were cost of Rs 400000. Member of the ‘Lions Club of Raigampurawaraya 306 A-2’, Mr. Alikan (Osaka Lanka), Mr. S Sivadasa (Siva Distributors), Dr AAE Nuwan Madushanka and doctors of Hospital Akkaraipattu , Mrs. Priyanthi De Silva (Australia), Mr Shiron Gunawardana (UK), Mr. Ponner selvam (Switzerland) had given Wholehearted support to success this event.
